Great opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a successful kiwi business that has scaled and now publicly listed and across NZ, Australia and the US.


Based in Mt Wellington, this role is office based Monday to Friday. The environment is fast paced and dynamic, so someone who enjoys the complexity of industries like banking and financial services, retail, e-commerce will thrive and lean into the projects.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take overall responsibility for the day to day financial reporting, group accounting and oversee Accounting support.

Managing a team of 3, you will provide guidance and support around workflow, timelines, problem solving and identifying opportunities for training, systems improvement and process improvement.


Your main responsibilities will include:

Month end and year end statutory accounting.
Group consolidations and commentary for the Executive team.
Tax & compliance, managing yearly Auditors and requirements for IFRS standards.
Budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
Overseeing Accounting support; Accounts Payable, Receivables and Reconciliations in a high volume/high transactions environment.
Partnering and working with the SLT, Commercial & Reporting analysts to enhance management reporting and insights that will support decision making.

What you'll bring to the role:
‍
It is essential that you are CA or CPA qualified and have working knowledge of IFRS requirements.
You have a natural leadership style and want to build and develop your people leadership skills
Have a continuous improvement mindset, this business has grown quickly and grown through acquisitions, there are number of opportunities to automate and streamline.
Ideally experience in Financial Services or a high volume and high transactions environment.
