Chameleon Creator helps organisations build engaging, interactive digital learning in a fraction of the time traditional tools take. More than 300 organisations, including Canva, ANZ, Halter, KPMG and Sharesies, use the platform across Australia, New Zealand and a growing global customer base.
The business has a strong product, recognisable customers and growing demand. Reporting to the CRO, you’ll be Chameleon’s first Sales Manager. It’s a leadership role with plenty of hands-on selling. You’ll close deals early to learn what works, then build the playbook to scale it.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and coaching the account executives and SDR, and lifting the quality of customer conversations
- Owning sales performance and revenue, including closing deals yourself
- Building a practical, scalable playbook covering pipeline, forecasting, CRM discipline and coaching rhythms
- Understanding how L&D teams buy and helping the team sell to the customer problem, not product features
- Working with leadership and marketing to define the strongest segments, channels and routes to market
- Developing a structured, data-led approach to growing in Australia
What you’ll bring
- B2B SaaS sales experience, with a track record of owning a revenue target and hitting it
- Experience leading or coaching salespeople, and genuinely enjoying helping others succeed
- Experience building or improving sales processes and pipeline discipline
- Strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to sell on value, not price
- Experience in a growing or changing business. L&D or HR tech experience is a bonus, not essential.
Why it’s worth a conversation
This is a chance to build, not inherit. You’ll have a genuine blank canvas to shape the sales function and the next hires, in a collaborative, no-politics culture with real autonomy and direct access to decision-makers. There’s a new product version about to launch and a big opportunity in Australia. Hybrid working (2 days in the office) and a competitive package.
